COME PEDAL BOATING IN WARDOWN PARK!
After a long break, pedalos have returned to Luton! Set in the beautiful surroundings of Wardown Park on the River Lea in Luton, this splendid lake has recently been refurbished, with a new suspension bridge for pedestrians, an island, and the shade of dozens of willow trees, which you can share with the friendly ducks. If you are looking for things to do in Luton, come boating with us. You can book online or just come and visit in person!
We are open all weekends and school holidays – weather permitting!
Prices are just £2 for a child under 16, and £4 for each adult.
We have 10 pedal boats ready to hire. Each one can potentially carry two adults and three children around the lake in style!
Renting a pedalo
Wardown Leisure Boating is located just by the newly restored suspension bridge opposite Wardown Park Kiosk, and the play area. You can come down on the day and hire a boat, usually without needing to wait. You can also book in advance, which is great for larger groups, families, and children's parties.

We accept cards, with contactless payment options available, as well as cash at the location. If you are caring for someone with a disability, we offer a discount. Contact us directly for details.

The above prices are for a 30 minute boat hire. You are welcome to hire for longer if you prefer. Our pedalo hire is the perfect option for a family looking for things to do in Luton.
Opening times:
Opening hours are from 11am to 6pm every weekend and school holiday, weather permitting!
Please note, we do not open during the Christmas break.
